This is my first blog, ever! I want to share my family photos and what’s going on in our lives. My goal is to learn how to move about easily in the blogging world, lol!
This summer has flown by, but I think I say that every summer! Aaron, Luke, and Brian went on an all day long canoe trip, and they had a blast! He has played a few rounds of Frisbee golf with all of this friends, but mostly he’s worked the whole summer away. We went camping for Memorial Day weekend, which was an experience, but we had a lot of fun. We’ve gone to so many softball games and tournaments and gotten a few sunburns. We had total blast for the 4th of July! Taylor turned 4 in April and Ally turned 3 in May; we had a big party for both (I always throw parites for my baby’s birthdays, I love it!); Taylor’s party was Hannah Montana and Ally’s was Barbie and the Island Princess. I made the piñatas and cakes for both; Taylor’s cake was microphone cupcakes and a pink one for the candle, Ally’s was a Barbie cake. We’ve had some play dates and the girls spent a lot of time at their grandma Mathey’s house. I had surgery on August 12th, so the girls spent almost 2 full weeks there; that is except Kendall who missed mommy and came home a couple days early. I am doing really well, recovering from y surgery, and the girls are recovering ok from their trip to grandma’s and starting to remember the rules of our house… little by little!!
As for what’s coming in our lives; August 28th we are going to the preschool to meat the girls’ teachers and then Labor day weekend we are going to Adrian for Aaron’s slow pitch State tournament; school starts the following Wednesday. Also Aaron will be turning 29 the 29th so this will be his “golden birthday” lol. Kendall will be 2 in October and I am busy trying to figure out the theme for her big party. Taylor, Ally and I start school on September 3; Taylor will be staring K-4 with Mrs. Romig, Ally will be starting K-3 with Mrs. Ankenbrant, and I will be starting my final semester at Delta to obtain my Certificate in Medical Transcription. Ally is totally thrilled to be starting school and to be a big girl, she is going to have the same teacher that Taylor had last year, we love her! Taylor is really excited, too, to be having Mrs. Romig as a teacher, she is a super nice lady and loves my girls so we know it will be a great experience and school year! As for Aaron, he will continue working at Delphi and coming home, continuing to be wonderful! We are going to have a busy next few weeks and months of field trips, class parties, and my homework, along with the every days of life! I am totally excited, but a little overwhelmed, lol; I do know, however, that no matter what happens, the Lord is doing it all and He knows how much we/I can handle. J He is a great God and we will trust in Him and floow what He has laid out for us!
